We are currently working on the following medically relevant topics:
- In vitro fertilisation (PHRT-funded) & Early Embryogenesis
- Lung Morphometrics in Health and Disease based on CT images
- Digital Pathology
The Personalised Health and Related Technologies initiative (external page PHRT) has provided us with funding for the following 3 topics:
1. Bladder Cancer: external page Morphometric analysis of epithelial bladder cancer progression (PhD student: Franziska Lampart)
2. Prostate Cancer: external page Personalizing treatment of prostate cancer with image-based diagnostics informed by deep learning and physics-based models (Post-Doc: Dr Kevin Yamauchi)
3. In vitro fertilisation:

- Reserach grant: Personalized Ovarian Stimulation Protocols: A Translational Medicine Approach for Optimizing Fertility Outcomes (PROSPECT- study) (Collaborators: Christian De Geyter (Uni Basel), Susanne Ulbrich (USYS, ETHZ)) Open Post-Doc position
