Recipients of the 2024 ETH Medal
The 2024 ETH Medal was awarded to Costanza Borrelli and Antonio Jose da Silva Santinha.
Congratulations!
Costanza Borrelli studied cell-cell interactions during her doctorate in the A. Moor Lab and was awarded the 2024 ETH Medal for her doctoral thesis Systems biology approaches to decipher cell-cell interactions.
Antonio Jose da Silva Santinha from the Platt Lab, inventor of a novel technology for single-cell CRISPR screening, was awarded the 2024 ETH Medal for his doctoral thesis AAV-Mediated Single-Nucleus CRISPR Screening of the 22Q11. 2 Deletion Syndrome in vivo.
Previous winners of the ETH Medal
At the D-BSSE, the ETH medal year correspondends to the calendar year. At the beginning of a new year, the selection process for the previously ended year starts and the winners will be notified and announced in May.
