Personalized medicine

A key challenge in medical AI is to estimate the causal effect of interventions, for example the effect of a drug given to a specific patient. We are interested in developing causal foundation models and algorithms that enable us to estimate treatment effects across patients and interventions to enable more personalized treatment regimes.
