About us

The Genomics Facility Basel is a central research and service facility of the University of Basel and the Department of Biosystems Science and Engineering of ETH Zurich located in Basel.

The technology platform was established in 2008 to grant researchers in the life sciences community in Basel and at ETH Zurich direct access to next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology, and thereby facilitating the systematic quantitative investigation of genome-wide experiments.

External customers are also encouraged to to inquire for services and collaboration.
