Cell culture system (H0)

The Hamilton StarPLUS robotic system (H0) is our system to maintain mammalian cell cultures, monitor them via an automated imager and to produce plates for cell culture based assays, transfection or imaging. It runs 24 hours a day and 7 days a week with little user interaction. It is controlled by our LAF database system that allows scheduling of interlaced tasks on the robot. This allows to maintain and monitor several cell lines of different users in parallel. The system indicates when consumables or media have to be refilled or when culture plates are ready to be unloaded. Please contact LAF staff if you are interested in maintaining your cell lines automatically.
