Tecan SPARK Reader 1 & Reader 2 (Room 2.16)

Monochromator based microplate readers capable of measuring absorbance, fluorescence, fluorescence polarisation, fluorescence lifetime and luminescence. The readers allow shaking and incubation at temperatures >5°C above ambient temperature. They are also equipped with a CO2 gas control system, humidity chambers and a lid lifter to allow life-cell support of mammallian cell cultures. Microbial cultivations with extended shaking of microplates are not allowed on these readers.

Tecan M1000 Pro Reader 1 & Reader 2 (Room 2.16)

Monochromator based microplate readers capable of measuring absorbance, fluorescence, fluorescence polarisation, fluorescence lifetime and luminescense. The readers are equiped with injectors which can add chemicals to a microplate during the measurement. The readers allow shaking and incubation at temperatures >5°C above ambient temperature. Cultivations with extended shaking of microplates are not allowed on these readers.

Tecan M Nano (Room 2.16)

Monochromator based microplate reader capable of measuring absorbance between 230nm and 1000nm. The reader allows shaking and incubation at temperatures >5°C above ambient temperature. Shaking cultivations should be performed on this reader.
