Big congratulations are in order for Ph.D. student Costanza Borelli and Prof. Dr. Andreas Moor on securing a project grant from the Swiss Cancer League. Their project, "In vivo CRISPR Screen in Metastasis-Accepting Organ to Identify Seeding-Promoting and Seeding-Suppressing Interactions," represents a cutting-edge approach in the fight against cancer.

By integrating in vivo CRISPR screening with proximity labeling techniques, the project aims to unravel the complex interactions within the liver that facilitate or hinder the establishment of metastatic cancer cells. This innovative research has the potential to open new avenues for understanding and combating the metastatic process, which could lead to breakthroughs in therapeutic interventions.

We eagerly anticipate the results of this pioneering work, which could reshape our knowledge of metastasis and lead to more effective cancer treatments. Congratulations once again to Costanza and Andreas—we look forward to the progress and insights that will undoubtedly stem from this exciting project!
