Congratulations to Ben Hershey for Winning a SPARK 2024 Grant!
We are excited to share that Ben Hershey, one of our postdocs, has been awarded a SPARK 2024 grant for his innovative research idea. His success required persistence and patience, so we are especially proud of his achievement.
Ben’s project will focus on understanding the metastatic niche of colorectal cancer liver metastases, integrating both computational and experimental approaches. His work aims to uncover key mechanisms that drive tumor progression and identify potential vulnerabilities that could be targeted for therapeutic intervention. Beyond advancing our knowledge in this field, this grant provides Ben with an excellent opportunity to expand his research focus, develop new ideas, and establish a strong foundation for future studies.
