Our ERC proof-of-concept (PoC) grant application titled "Multi-well High-resolution Electrophysiology Platform" (Mw-HRes-EP) was retained for funding. The aim of this proof-of-concept project is to make initial steps in translating the high-density microelectrode array (HD-MEA) chip technology, which has been developed in the ERC AdG "NeuroCMOS" (external pageAdG 267351) into a commercial product. The PoC will be performed in collaboration with the company MaxWell Biosystems AG (external pagehttp://www.mxwbio.com/), which commercializes multi-well HD-MEA platforms for use in research labs and industry.
