High-throughput screening methods are essential to accelerate enzyme discovery and engineering, but many existing approaches are limited by cumbersome individual assay development. I am addressing these challenges in my PhD thesis by developing a platform that integrates droplet-based microfluidics with mass spectrometry for rapid and label-free enzyme screening. I design and optimize microfluidic setups tailored for droplet-based enzyme assays and develop custom interfaces to efficiently couple microfluidic devices with MS systems.
