Sony SH800S Sorter
The Sony SH800 is a micro fluidic chip-based designed cell sorter which is equipped with 4 lasers (405 nm, 488nm, 561nm and 638nm) that are combined into a single collinear beam. This Sony sorter can detect up to 6 colors plus two scatter parameters.
This sorter has several automated setup functions that include stream alignment, drop delay and side stream calibration. Additionally, the machine is equipped with a Class-II Biosafety cabinet that provides the possibility to run BSL-2 sorts. The Sony SH800 is located in our access-restricted Biosafety Level 2 room (U1.64) and can be self-operated by trained users.
