Selen Manioğlu won the "Biophysical Journal Outstanding Poster Award"
At the Biophysical Society meeting in Stockholm in August, Selen won the poster award for her poster presentation of her work on polymyxin antibiotics.
Selen was invited to present the work of her docotral thesis at the meeting organised by the Biophysical Society on 'Physical and Quantitative Approaches to Overcome Antibiotic Resistance' in Stockholm this August. She was awarded the 'Biophysical Journal Outstanding Poster Award' for her poster presentation titled 'Polymyxin antibiotic solidifies the bacterial outer membrane by arranging lipopolysaccharide into crystalline structures'.
