We are excited about ISMB/ECCB (https://www.iscb.org/ismbeccb2019), the world's largest computational biology and bioinformatics conference, taking place in Basel this year. Our group will participate and contribute in various ways, including by two proceedings track presentations, both on Tuesday, July 23. Rzgar Hosseini will present his work on estimating the predictability of cancer evolution (https://doi.org/10.1093/bioinformatics/btz332), and Mathias Cardner will explain how to combine temporal with interventional gene expression data to learn dynamical changes in cell signaling networks (https://doi.org/10.1093/bioinformatics/btz325). Also, don't miss the special session on Computational Oncology we are co-organizing with Francesca Ciccarelli and Jens Lagergren (https://www.iscb.org/ismbeccb2019-program/special-sessions#sst04).
