New publication: Bayesian phylodynamic analysis for large datasets with duplicate sequences
Veronika and Tanja's paper is published in Molecular Biology and Evolution! They developed a new BEAST2 add-on for improved, efficient phylodynamic analysis of large datasets with many duplicated sequences. Their method is useful, for example, in analysing within-host evolution of HIV.
ETH press video highlights ongoing COVID-19 monitoring projects

Preprint posted on the origin and early spread of SARS-CoV-2 in Europe
We estimated the origin and early spread of SARS-CoV-2 in Europe from viral genome sequences using a phylodynamic model. Our results are now available as a preprint.
