The Genomics Basel team provides expertise and technical support for NGS applications.

The facility currently comprises Illumina and PacBio sequencing systems, accessory equipment for (automated) sample preparation - including single-cell sequencing technologies - and QC.

While the operation of the NGS equipment is reserved for our trained staff member, users can get access to sample preparation and QC equipment.

In general we recommend to contact us in the planning phase of your genomics projects. We are happy to elaborate the best strategy together with you, starting with the project idea via choice of technologies, sample preparation, data generation, management and analysis procedures.
