The work of Olivier Frey and coworkers on 3D spherical microtissues and microfluidic technology for multitissue experiments and analysis was covered in a short article entitled "An organ system on a chip" in the Swiss research magazine external page Horizons. 3D microtissue research work is a longterm collaboration effort between BEL and its spinoff external page InSphero AG. Horizons offers an overview of research activities in Switzerland and is published jointly by the SNSF and the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences four times a year.
