New BEL microtissue paper entitled  "Adding the ‘heart’ to hanging drop networks for microphysiological multi-tissue experiments" in Lab on a Chip is covered in Chemistry World.

Microfluidic hanging drop system: Liquid drops that hang from a surface are interconnected by micro-engineered liquid channels. Cells or microtissues can be suspended in different drops and then interact through the chemicals they produce.
