Review article titled "Integrated microphysiological systems: Transferable organ models and recirculating flow" was selected for inclusion into Editors' Choice collection of the journal Advanced Biosystems.
Our invited review article titled "Integrated microphysiological systems: Transferable organ models and recirculating flow" was selected for inclusion into Editors' Choice collection of the journal Advanced Biosystems. The review article describes transferable in vitro organ models and integrated microphysiological systems (MPSs) that host those organ models. This approach enables off‐chip maturation and quality control of the organ models before system assembly and harvesting of organ models for endpoint analysis. Integrated MPSs feature good system stability and reproducibility of the results, which is pivotal for wide adoption of the technology.
