Visit of TEDD network to Department BSSE and BEL

Members of the TEDD network visited the Department BSSE and BEL. The visit included research presentations and visits to laboratories of research groups as well as to BSSE facilities, such as the single-cell facility and microtechnological cleanroom.
TEDD is a Swiss competence center devoted to Tissue Engineering for Drug Development and Substance Testing. TEDD is homed at ZHAW Wädenswil fostering education, R&D and networking and promoting the application of 3D organotypic technologies for therapy development. A core goal is to replace animal experimentation according to the 3Rs (Replacement, Reduction and Refinement) in the long term.
