Student / Programme Doctorate at D-BSSE
I am part of the EU NEWmRNA project which aims to rethink the synthetic biology of mRNAs in bacteria, including in vivo large-scale production of mRNAs for purposes such as vaccination or gene therapy. The goal of my thesis is to increase the production yield of “cloaked” (protected) mRNAs out of E. coli by preventing their degradation, and then to develop “decloaking” for isolation.
