At the annual conference of  the European Organ-on-Chip Society (external page EUROoCS) in Grenoble, France, Jana Petr, a PhD student of BEL, received a best-poster award for her contribution titled "Microfluidic platform for continuous, high-resolution imaging of organotypic brain-tissue slices". The poster describes a new, transparent microfluidic platform for long-term culturing of ex vivo tissue slices, which enables to investigate dynamic processes in organotypic slice cultures while enabling continuous, high-resolution imaging. The poster resulted from a collaboration with the group of M. Baumgartner at the University Children’s Hospital in Zurich, Switzerland.
