Cybergenetic control systems advance synthetic biology

The design of biomolecular control systems facilitates the precise and robust regulation of biological processes. Researchers from the group of Mustafa Khammash now present a synthetic biology roadmap for designing genetic feedback controllers to precisely steer cellular dynamics, enhancing performance while reducing stochastic noise. These high-performance cybergenetic control systems will be the basis for biotechnological applications in industry and health care.
