Get-Together

Every two years the “PhD Days” take place, the retreat for the doctoral students of D-BSSE. The focus of this two-day event is the scientific and social exchange between doctoral students of different research groups.

The organising committee, which is always made up of doctoral students, decides on the main theme of the retreat and draws up a varied programme. Lectures and panel discussions take up the topic. Fun games and an evening event ensure social exchange.

If you would like to organize the next PhD Days, do not hesitate to get in touch with your fellow doctoral students to form the next organising committee. Done that, then let the D-​BSSE Doctoral Administration know to start finding a suitable date.
 

Tuesday seminars take place every Tuesday during the semester at 11am. Different scientists lecture about their their research and doctoral students (and postdocs), have the opportunity to present and discuss their research in front of the department; the programme can be found here.
