Einweihungsfeier BSS-Gebäude
Die ETH Zürich hat auf dem Schällemätteli-Areal in Basel das neue Forschungs- und Laborgebäude BSS fertiggestellt. Damit hat das ETH-Departement für Biosysteme seinen Platz in direkter Nachbarschaft zu wichtigen Life Science Partnern der Universität Basel und der Universitätskliniken gefunden. Nachdem der Lehrbetrieb in dem Gebäude bereits im September 2023 aufgenommen wurde, sind die letzten Labors bis Ende 2023 bezogen worden. Am 16. Mai 2024 feierte die ETH mit etwa 150 Gästen die offizielle Einweihung des Gebäudes.
ETH Zurich has completed the construction of the new BSS research and laboratory building on the Schällemätteli campus in Basel. The ETH Department of Biosystems Science and Engineering is now located in the direct vicinity of key life science partners of the University of Basel and the university hospitals. After teaching began in the building in September 2023, the last research laboratories moved in by the end of 2023. On 16 May 2024, ETH Zurich celebrated the official opening of the BSS building together with some 150 guests.
