Incorporation of D-BSSE Spin-Off UniteLabs AG
UniteLabs AG is building new kind of flexible, easy and affordable automation for life science research facilities. At the beginning of November, the D-BSSE spin-off was successfully incorporated.
The goal of the newly incorporated D-BSSE spin-off is to automate life science labs in minutes instead of days, and bring automation as an every-day tool in the lab.
UniteLabs AG is also building a new standard for laboratory automation, SiLA 2, together with SiLA industry consortium.
The D-BSSE spin-off has already started with its first customer to automate liquid chromatography and mass spec instruments for compound analytics.
At the moment UniteLabs AG is a team of two: Oskari Vinko is a D-BSSE alumni from Biotechnology MSc program and Maximilian Schulz a roboticist from ETH Zurich and two years experience at ETH Zurich spin-off Rapyuta Robotics.
They are currently hiring interns, thesis students and a co-founder. This would at least double out team by January 2018.
