Invention from the Paro group nominated for Spark Award 2021

On 11 October, ETH Zurich will present the Spark Award to ETH-scientists for the most promising invention. The criteria for the evaluation are: originality, patent strength and market potential. The top 5 finalists from the Epigenomics group of Renato Paro at D-BSSE present a patent application on a long non-coding RNA which serves as a potent and specific cell death effector of cancer cells.
