Living systems excel at solving complexity through selective adaptation. This capability arises from self-organization and the storage and transfer of information. As a scientist, I aim to harness these principles to adequately address today’s challenges.

At the BPL, I am working on a high-throughput enzyme screening platform technology that can be broadly applied to various reactions and does not require extensive upfront assay development. To enable this, I use genetic encoding to monitor enzyme variants within large unarranged libraries.
