Great public interest in Open-Lab tour

On 21 June, Barbara Treutlein and her group invited the public to learn about dermal cells that turn into mini-organs. After a short introduction on the advances in stem cell research and the use of human organoids in understanding diseases and developing personalised therapies, the visitors to the fully booked tour saw some of the labs from inside and had the opportunity to discuss open questions with the young scientists.
