ETH medals for Matteo Togninalli & Gotthold Fläschner
Gotthold Fläschner, former doctoral student in the Biophysics group led by Daniel Müller, worked on mechanical oscillators probing cell mass and mechanics; Matteo Togninalli from the Machine Learning and Computational Biology lab led by Karsten Borgwardt, explored the genotype-phenotype relationship using big data and machine learning. Both awardees receive the ETH medal for their outstanding doctoral theses. Congratulations!
