Dr. Maurice Filo

Maurice received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) under the supervision of Professor Bassam Bamieh. He first obtained his Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the American University of Beirut (AUB), and then obtained another Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCSB.
His research interests revolve around control/estimation theory and (distributed) dynamical systems in deterministic and stochastic environments. Maurice worked on a broad spectrum of topics ranging from theory to applications in biology and mechanics.
